Mini-Map • Resource Meters • Sell • Repair • Power Up / Power Down • Attack • Stop Mini-MapThe mini-map displays a miniaturized view of the entire game map. Units and structures are displayed with color-coded squares. When you have units or buildings selected, the squares representing those units on the mini-map are white. The area that your current game screen is displaying is surrounded with a white rectangular box. Press and hold the left mouse button on the mini-map to drag your view around. You can also hold down Shift and left-click.
It is possible to target commands on the mini-map. For example, left-click on the mini-map when you have units selected, and the units will move to the location where you clicked. Use this to quickly send your forces across the map to distant locations without having to scroll there yourself. When a notable event occurs, such as your units coming under attack, a red circular “blip” will appear on the radar, marking the location. You can press the Spacebar to jump immediately to that location. The mini-map does not display unless you have at least one Headquarters. Also, you must have enough Taelon Power Generators to support your mini-map. If you run low on power, the mini-map will display in red and will no longer update, until your power is restored. However, you can still scroll the view and issue commands using the mini-map in this situation. |
