Pursuit Range

Pursuit Range affects how far a unit is willing to travel to chase after a target that it has decided to attack (or heal or boost, in the case of a Medic or an Amper). It has no effect on a target that you have specifically told the unit to attack.

HIGHThe unit will continue chasing as far as necessary until its target is dealt with. Once that happens, the unit remains in its present location.
MEDThe unit will chase for a short distance from its present location, about the distance that it can see. If a target goes outside of this range, the unit will abort its attack and return to its previous position. If a unit with this setting must flee from an enemy, it will try to return to its previous location afterward.
LOWThe unit does not move to approach enemies that it sees, though it will shoot enemies that are already within range if its Independence setting allows for it. If the unit or a nearby ally is fired upon, it may move to retailiate. When coupled with LOW Independence, you can force a unit with this setting to not react when enemies attack it.
