Special Functions Menu
The Special Menu contains buttons that just didn’t belong anywhere else. The buttons are context-sensitive and will only be enabled when you have a relevant unit or building selected. Units
- Morph: This button brings up a cursor for you to select a target to morph into. Shortcut key: i
- Unmorph: Immediately unmorphs a unit that is morphed.
- Phase: Causes the unit to phase himself underground. Shortcut key: i
- Unphase: The unit comes back up to the surface. Shortcut key: i
- Self Destruct: Triggers the unit’s self-destruct sequence. Shortcut key: Shift-D
- Formation Move: Brings up the formation move cursor. Shortcut key: f
Buildings
- Sell Water: You can force an early sale of your stored water resources before your storage tanks are full. You receive credits in proportion to the amount you’d gathered minus a static fee of 500 credits. Note that if you do not yet have 500 credits worth of water gathered, you cannot force a sale.
- Packup/UnPack: Put a building in the wrong location? Freedom Guard structures can pack up and go elsewhere! Clicking this button while a building is selected will produce a Base Mover. Clicking this button while a Base Mover is selected will enable you to select a location to place the building. Only certain buildings can be moved. Shortcut key (unpack only): i
- Set Exit Point: This assigns the rally point of your selected building to the location you click. Shortcut key: Home
