Fresh Water

Thanks to the Imperium’s policy of poisoning all surface water, the only source of fresh water remaining is that which is found in underground springs. Because of its rarity, water is more precious than gold and can be sold for a profit of credits.

In order to harvest water, you must build a Water Launch Pad. Water is collected by Freighters and then shipped off-world for sale.

Water is sold automatically once you have gathered enough to make a full shipment. You can force an early sale of your stored water resources and receive credits in proportion to the amount you’d gathered. However, this costs a static fee of 500 credits; therefore, if you do not yet have 500 credits worth of water gathered, you cannot force a sale.

To force a sale of water, click on the water’s resource meter, the credits display at the top of the screen, or click the button on the Special Menu.
