These decks resupply air vehicles with ammunition and this structure also serves as the primary prerequisite requirement for building virtually all air units.

Rearming

Certain units (generally air units) consume ammunition when they attack. When a unit runs low enough on ammunition that it does not have enough left to fire, it must rearm before it can shoot again.

Units will automatically return to the Rearming Deck when they are out of ammunition. Be very attentive to where you place your deck, because your units will be moving toward it frequently and at times unexpectedly. Make sure your air units don’t need to fly over towers or other harmful spots of the map en route to one of your Rearming Decks. Freedom Guard players may even consider packing up their decks and moving them closer to the front lines as a game progresses, although you will be unable to build units which depend on the Rearming Deck while it is in transit.

When a unit is done being serviced, it returns to the bay’s exit point. Place your bay’s exit point carefully to make sure your units return to where you wish them to gather.

If you build multiple Rearming Decks, units will try to select the one with the shortest queue of other units waiting to be serviced, or the nearest one if the queues are the same size.

Your buildings can service your allies as well, so keep them in mind as well when putting one up.
