CombatTank Hunters, as their name might suggest, deal additional damage to tank-plated vehicles, and therefore are a very useful counter to use against virtually any type of tank the opposition throws at you. However, their weapon’s damage rating is still quite good even versus infantry, so don’t discount them just because you might be facing off against more infantry than vehicles. In many ways, a Tank Hunter is a faster version of the Skirmish Tank that can’t hit air. They have slightly more health, although still not enough to save them should a Martyr detonate right next to them. Besides being unable to hit air units, one of the key disadvantages to the Tank Hunter is its limited range. It has to be practically on top of a target before it can shoot at it. With their high speed this is not always a problem because they can approach targets quickly; however, this property does usually put them into the thick of battle, resulting more often than not in lower life spans overall. |
